Grandpa Kettleson update

Hi Family and Friends,

I know a lot of you are wondering how Matt's Grandpa Kettleson is doing.  Here's a link to the website (
http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jerrykettelson) to update you on his progress.  Please keep Matt's family in your thoughts and prayers.

Robbie Burns Day

On Friday, we spent the evening over at our friends Dave and Michelle's house celebrating Robbie Burns Day!  If you're not familiar with Robert Burns, he is a famous Scottish Poet who wrote "Auld Lang Syne". (that song we sing on New Years Eve)  You can read more about what Burns Night involves by clicking here.  We ate Haggis, neeps and tatties, Ceilidh danced, and watched some wonderful performances by our super talented friends. Enjoy the pictures! (courteous of the Redferns)

Sea Wheeze Half Marathon

When I was in college, I used to LOVE running! Mostly because I had some great friends who loved running   and a beautiful place by the beach to go and run!  Oh the memories of accidental marathons, barefoot running on the beach, (both bad ideas by the way) the loop at Wrightsville beach, 5ks, relay marathons, and good conversations with friends!

As Matt and I were talking about our "goals" for the New Year, I decided I really want to get back into running again! To help me achieve this goal, I signed up for a the most "Vancouver-like" race I could find... the Lululemon SeaWheeze Half Marathon! How fun!

Over the past few weeks, we've had a few rare days of sunshine here in Vancouver! I've gotten the chance to put on my "runners" and go out for a run!  Here are some pics from my route!

Happy 2013!

Happy 2013 everyone!

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!  We were able to travel back to the Carolinas to spend the Holidays with our friends and families! We were having so much fun with everyone that we failed to take lots of pictures.  Here are some highlights and the few pictures we have from the trip.
